Our cosy self catering cottage has been sympathetically
converted from the original eighteenth century farmhouse
and commands spectacular views of the surrounding
countryside to the South.
Converted
to an excellent standard, the accommodation was awarded a Bronze Award under the North East England
Tourism Awards 2011, and Four Stars Gold Award under
the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence Scheme.
Additionally,
the accommodation has been granted Access Exceptional
status under the National Accessible Scheme criteria
for wheelchair users.

cottage
The lounge / dining area has large windows, taking
full advantage of the beautiful views, which can now
be enjoyed with the additional comfort of our recently
installed wood buring stove. Outside, the cottage
has its own private garden with picnic table and chairs,
and barbecue facilities.

balcony
The lounge / dining area opens directly onto the balcony,
which also provides same-level access back to the
main entrance.

bedrooms
The cottage has 2 cosy bedrooms and can sleep 4 people
(an extra bed is available to accommodate a fifth
person).

Each bedroom has an en-suite facility with shower and has been
designed with mobility impaired guests also in mind.
