Please read the following terms carefully then complete the fields below to download our Rental Agreement.

1. We are pleased to accept a booking but require a deposit within 7 days as confirmation.
2. Self Catering Deposit: a deposit of 25% of the total cost of rental is required to secure the booking. The final balance must be paid six weeks before the commencement of rental.
3. The above payments must be received in full before the keys can be released.
4. An inventory of the property contents will be carried out before your arrival. Any loss, serious breakage or damage shall be the responsibility of the tenant. We would ask you to make a note of any breakages please.
5. Rental starts at 4pm on the arrival date and ends at 10.00am on the departure date as specified in the rental agreement unless otherwise agreed in advance.
6. Electricity and heating are included in the rental cost; however, excessive usage of utilities may attract an additional charge.
7. Only the persons named in the rental agreement may occupy the property.
8. The property must be left in the same condition as it was recieved on arrival. If the property is left excessively dirty the hirer is responsible for £50 additional cleaning costs.
8a. Well behaved pets (max 2) are welcomed but we request that they stay off the furniture and out of the bedrooms.
9. The property is strictly non-smoking.
10. Use of Wi-Fi. By using our Wi-Fi Service you automatically agree to the terms and conditions of use, a copy of which can be downloaded here.
11. The tenants occupy the property entirely at their own risk and the owner cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss to the renting party or their property, occurring in the property however caused.
12. Cancellation by Guest: once you have booked your holiday, our agreement with you is a legal contract. If you cannot go on holiday and the Grindon Cartshed cannot be re-let, you are liable to pay for the booking in full, even if you cancel before paying the balance. If we are successful in re-letting Grindon Cartshed for the same period, we will refund any such rentals received less your deposit. For these reasons we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance for your holiday. Refunds will be made by cheque and will be net of any fees or costs incurred in making the refund. The time of cancellation shall be that at which the owner receives notice of the cancellation however delivered not that at which the notice is sent.
13. Cancellation by Us: should it be necessary for us to cancel a booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments will be refunded in full. No further liability can be assumed by the owner beyond this amount, or in respect of any other costs incurred by the tenant as a result of cancellation.
